ABOUT

The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) is a not-for-profit Society registered under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) Public Societies Registration Act, 1350 Fasli (Act I of 1350 F). Established in the year 1984 with an objective of imparting world-class high quality education. ICFAI has around three decades of exemplary track record in the field of higher education. ELIGIBILITY

The competition is open for students who are studying LLB three year or five-year courses during the current academic year. The team composition, for the competition, shall comprise of either 2 (two) members (being designated as Speakers) or 3 (three) members (two of them shall be designated as Speakers and one Researcher).

DETAILS

  • Online registrations are open from 7th October. The teams must register online by 27th October. 
  • Only 24 teams will be registered to participate in the competition on a first-come-first- serve basis.
  • No temporary registration requests will be entertained. Kindly refrain from sending such requests to organizing committee or the university. Participants will receive an automated system generated acknowledgement on successful submission of registration. Participants will receive an approval as acceptance of their request for participation within 7 days of registration.
  • The teams can register by filling the Google form which is available at the end of the page. The Registration process would be concluded only after full payment of the registration fee. A registration fee of Rs. 600/- is to be paid online by 27th  October 2022.
  • In the event if a team drops out of the competition or is disqualified the team next in line as per registration data (When the registration exceeds beyond the permitted 24 teams) will be offered the chance to participate in the competition at short notice.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Students enrolled in a full-time Law Degree Programme i.e., Five-Years Integrated Law Degree Programme or Three-Year LL.B. Programme at the time of the competition are eligible to participate in the Competition.
  • Each Law College/Law School/Law University shall nominate only one team. Thus, only one team will be eligible to participate from an Institution.

DETAILS

  • The participants as a team are requested to register online through the link provided at the end of this post.
  • Only after filling google form and paying registration fees, the participation of teams shall be confirmed and the same shall be communicated on the e-mail ID given in the registration form.

ABOUT

Built upon noble ideas, it continues the legacy of its founder Justice Murtaza Husain. In 1996, Unity Technical Institute Society was established by him with the main objective of providing professional and technical education to all.

Thereafter in the year 1998, Justice Murtaza Husain founded Unity Degree College. Unity Degree College was a minority institution in North India. Today, the college is a Post Graduate college, having been upgraded in 2018. Unity P.G. & Law College is his dream child.

ELIGIBILITY

  • The Competition is open to all students, enrolled bonafide at the time of the competition in an undergraduate LL.B. degree Course or its equivalent conducted by any recognized Institution/College/University in India.
  • A recognized Institution/College/University shall be entitled to send only one Team for the Competition.
  • Each Team shall comprise three members. Two members of the Team shall be designated as Orators and the third member shall be designated as the Researcher.
  • Any additional member or Team Coach accompanying a Team shall not be recognized and will not be entitled to a certificate from the MCC.
  • Note: Students enrolled in postgraduate or diploma programs are not eligible to participate.
  • Each team shall consist of a minimum of two members and a maximum of three members. The substitution of any Team Member is not allowed after the registration deadline except in extenuating circumstances and only with the written permission of the organizers.
  • Every team shall consist of two speakers and only one researcher.
  • A researcher shall be allowed to argue instead of a speaker only with the permission of the Court.

DETAILS

  • All the participating institutions have to confirm their participation by sending an email to unitymootcourtcommittee@gmail.com with the subject “Registration for Justice Murtaza Husain Moot 2022” on or before 25th October (Tuesday) at 23:59 hrs.
  • The email should contain the Names and Year of Study of the participants; the name of the institution of the Participating Team; and also whether they wish to take accommodation as per Rule 12.
  • Teams whose registration is confirmed must register by 23:59 hr on October 25 (Tuesday) by sending an email to unitymootcourtcommittee@gmail.com with the Subject: “Registration for Justice Murtaza Husain Moot 2022”.
  • The e-mail should contain the duly filled-in Registration Form along with the details of the online transfer (See Rule 3.3).
  • Duly filled Travel Form shall be scanned and attached with this email. Each registered team would be allotted a Team Code after the payment of the registration fee by the Team is confirmed.

ELIGIBILITY

People’s Education Society’s ‘Adv. Balasaheb Apte College of Law’ is to host its tenth edition of the National level Intercollegiate Mock Trial, Judgement Writing and Moot Court Competition, from October 14 to 16, 2022 at Adv. Balasaheb Apte College of Law, Dadar (West), Mumbai.

This Annual Event of Adv. Balasaheb Apte College of Law, Mumbai is hosted in the fond memory of Late Shri. Balwant Parshuram Apte (widely known as Adv. Balasaheb Apte), is a distinguished legal luminary and also a noted parliamentarian.

ELIGIBILITY

Bona-fide LL.B. students pursuing 3 or 5 years degree courses during the academic year 2022-23 are eligible to participate. The students must be deputed by their respective colleges. Students above the age of 25 years as of October 14, 2022, are not permitted to participate in this competition.

LOCATION

This is an Offline Event which will be held on campus at People’s Education Society’s, Adv. Balasaheb Apte College of Law, Principal N. M. Kale Marg, Gokhale Road (South), Dadar (West), Mumbai – 400 028.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

  • Only 24 teams will be registered to participate in the competition on a first-come-first-serve basis. The participants shall register their entries by emailing the duly filled and scanned Registration Form (soft copy) on or before, September 25, 2022, from their college official email-id to ‘mootabacl@gmail.com’ thereafter, the participants shall receive an acknowledgement on successful submission of their registration.
  • The first 24 teams shall be receiving a confirmation mail on their selection for participation. Participants receiving the confirmation of acceptance shall be expected to send the Registration Form (hard copy) along with the registration fees on or before September 30, 2022.
  • The registration fees shall be INR 3,000/- which can be payable by UPI with the UPI ID being “Abacl@jsb”. The participants shall send the screenshot of the UPI payment to mootabacl@gmail.com.

  • Each team shall comprise a minimum of two members i.e two speakers and a maximum of three members i.e. two speakers and one researcher. Thus, each team shall be composed of two speakers (Compulsory) and a researcher (if any).
  • A maximum of two teams are allowed to participate in the competition from one college/institute/university.

REGISTRATION DETAILS

  • Interested teams are required to register by filling the registration form through the link given at the end of this post, latest by September 18, 2022 by 11:59 p.m. (IST).

Rayat College of Law is organizing 10th National Moot Court Competition.

ABOUT

Rayat College of Law, Railmajra, S.B.S. Nagar is the benchmark Institution in Punjab, imparting legal education through B.A/B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) 5 Year Integrated Course And LL.B (3 years) .

ELIGIBILITY

The Colleges/Universities/Institutes pursuing LL.B (Five Year or Three Year Degree Course) in the current academic year are eligible to participate in this competition. However, only one team per university/institution shall be eligible to participate.

TEAM

  • The participating College/University/Institute shall nominate one team consisting of three students for the competition.
  • Each team shall comprise of three students (two speakers and one researcher). An observer may accompany the team but no certificate shall be provided to him/her.
  • In case of any contingency, the researcher may substitute the speaker only with the prior permission of the organizer.

REGISTRATION DETAILS

The Registration Form (given in the brochure below) completely filled and duly signed by the Head of the participating college/University/Institute along with a draft worth Rs. 4200/- as Registration Fee drawn in the favour of The Principal, Rayat College of Law, Payable at Ropar should be sent on or before 15 February 2020 (soft copy) and on or before 20 February 2020 (hard copies).

SUBMISSIONS

  • The participating teams must submit Two hard copies of the memorials prepared from both the sides, i.e., “petitioner” and “respondent” according to the proposition (6 copies from respective sides to bring with them i.e. a total of eight copies) on or before 16/03/2020.
  • The participants must send a soft copy of the above-stated documents to rclmootcourt2016@gmail.com by 10/03/2020
  • Each team will be given a code on submission of the memorial. Copies and Documents submitted shall be the property of the organization.
  • The participating teams will have to report on 28/03/2020 at Rayat College Of Law, Railmajra.
