  • All manuscripts must be accompanied by:

    • A Certificate that the paper submitted is a piece of original and bonafide research work and has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
    • Similarity Index Report from recognized Similarity Checker Software (Plagiarism Report).
    • Contributions should be in the English language only and in conformity with AIL’s scheme and style.
    • Electronic submissions should ideally be made in Word Format (doc)/(docx).
    • Text and citation style should strictly conform to the rules of the Indian Law Institute (ILI). This mode of citation must be strictly followed otherwise the paper shall not be considered for publication.
    • No biographical information or references, including the name(s) of the author(s), affiliation(s) and acknowledgements should be included in the text of the manuscript, the name or document properties.
    • All such information may be incorporated in the covering letter accompanying the manuscripts.
  • The Journal encourages the original work of the contributors for publication and plagiarized work will not be considered for publication. The Journal also promotes gender neutrality.
  • The articles in the Journal shall be edited and published according to the orthographical and grammatical rules of Indian English, which is based on British English; thus, submissions in American English will be modified accordingly.
  • In the case of references from websites, the complete URL address, along with the last date of accessing the website should be mentioned.
  • Manuscripts shall be assessed by subjection to Blind Review Procedure. Reviewers shall not be informed of the author’s name, university/institution, designation, or any other personal information.
  • All authors are to certify that the paper submitted is a piece of original and bonafide research work and has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
  • Copy right of all entries received shall exclusively vest with the Army Institute of Law. The submission of work would imply that the contributor has assigned such rights to AIL on its publication in the journal.
  • Author/s are required to obtain written permission for the use of any copyrighted material in the manuscript and must communicate the same to the Editorial Board. Such material may include tables, charts, graphs etc.
  • Authors are also required to inform the Editorial Board if they have submitted their manuscripts to another law journal and if they have received an offer of publication.
  • In case the article is not published, then the author shall be intimated by the Institute through e-mail and he/she may then send it for publication elsewhere.
  • Mere submission of a contribution shall not confer any claim for publication. The Editorial Board reserves all rights to take the decision to publish the contribution or not. The Board’s decision as regards the interpretation of guidelines or any other matter relating to the publication shall be final.
  • Author/s are requested to verify references and quotations before submitting the manuscripts. The author shall be entitled to one copy of the journal in case of publication. In case there is a co-author, two copies shall be given.
  • Word Limit
    • Article/Research Papers: The word limit is between 4,000 to 6,000 words (including footnotes).
  • Procedure For Acceptance
    • On receipt of the contribution, Constituted Committee shall screen it to satisfy itself about the conformity of the contribution with the AIL conditions and policy for submission of the manuscripts.
    • The screened work shall be assessed by the referees.
    • A contribution recommended by the referee as fit for publication as such or recommended for publication with necessary amendments, if any, shall be considered for publication after the author would submit the amended paper accordingly.
  • The author will be given one week to carry out the changes thus suggested.

National Law University Jodhpur is inviting applications for the paper presentation and discussion on the state of implementation of the Right to Education, 2009 in the different states of India.

ABOUT

The Committee is organizing a three to four-day Seminar on “Assessing the Implementation of the RTE Act, 2009”. The discussion series will include paper submissions by the legal aid cells/centres/committees of the participating universities and a presentation on the state of RTE in their respective region. ABOUT

CCLP was established as an initiative to promote interdisciplinary research in the field of competition law and policymaking. As a part of this initiative, CCLP publishes its flagship journal, the Indian Competition Law Review (“ICLR”).

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • Co-Authorship: The manuscript may be co-authored by a maximum of two authors.
  • The Journal accepts the following kinds of submissions:
    • Articles: 5,000 to 10,000 words.
    • Short notes: 2,500 to 5,000 words.
    • Case Comments: 1,500 to 2,500 words
  • These word counts are exclusive of footnotes. The Editorial Board reserves the right to increase or relax the word limit, depending on the quality of the submission.
  • The mail bearing the manuscript must declare, in its body, the category for which the submission is made for, i.e. article/short notes/case comment.
  • The body of the manuscript should be in Times New Roman, font size 12 with 1.5 line spacing. The footnotes should be in Times New Roman, font size 10 with single line spacing.
  • The manuscripts should be properly footnoted wherever sources are being used. The use of endnotes, hyperlinks, etc. is strictly prohibited. Further, no speaking footnotes (descriptive footnotes) are allowed.
  • All the sources in the footnotes must conform to the Oxford University Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA) 4th ed. style of citation.
  • The manuscripts must be preceded by an abstract of not more than 250 words.
  • The manuscript must not contain any reference to the author’s name, affiliation or credentials.
  • All manuscripts must be accompanied by a cover letter with the name(s) of the author(s), institution/affiliation, the title of the manuscript, and contact details. The author must also confirm in the cover letter that the manuscript is not being considered for publication elsewhere.
  • The manuscript must be an original and unpublished work.
  • If necessary, ICLR may request the author to provide a printed copy of the manuscript, in addition to the electronic copy.
  • The submission indicates the Author(s)’ acceptance of the following conditions:
    • The work, upon publication, becomes a property of National Law University, Jodhpur; and
    • Any subsequent publication/reprint and/or derivative works are permitted subject to prior approval of the ICLR.
    • The ICLR follows three stages of blind peer-review procedure and shall endeavor to keep the authors informed about the status of their manuscript as it goes through each stage of review.

The Centre for Criminology, Criminal Justice and Victimology, RGNUL is organizing the Indian Society of Victimology’s Eighth International and Twelfth Biennial Conference on the theme “Securing Justice to Victims of Crime” through Empowerment, Protection and Services from November 3 to 5, 2022 at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab.

The Indian Society of Victimology (ISV) is a national-level professional society that was founded in 1992 under the aegis of Professor K. Chockalingam, the then Head of the Department of Criminology, the University of Madras along with senior police officers Dr. R. K. Raghavan and Mr. L. N. Venkatesan.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • Participants can register online by using the link given at the end of the post.
  • Kindly make the payment ONLY after the selection of the abstract. Attendees (Non-Presenter) can make the payment by clicking on the payment link.
  • The registration fee does not include accommodation charges.
  • Participants are requested to register in advance to ensure accommodation and travel arrangements.
  • Participants must ensure that they receive a confirmation of registration before attending the conference.
  • The details of the venue and accommodation will be shared at a later stage on the conference website.
  • The research papers should pertain to any of the sub-themes of the conference.
  • An Abstract of 300 words (Max.) should be sent on or before 20th August 2022. Acceptance of abstract will be communicated within 15 days after submission.
  • A payment link will share separately if the abstract is selected.
  • A full paper not exceeding 5,000 words should be sent on or before September 20, 2022 upon acceptance of the abstract.
  • The organisers reserve the exclusive right to publish accepted papers for the Conference Volume.6. Abstracts and full research papers should be emailed to ccvpublication@rgnul.ac.in.

The Department of Taxation Law in the School for Excellence in Law from Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai is inviting manuscripts for publication in the First Volume of the Journal of the Department of Taxation Law (JDTL), 2022-2023 in the field of taxation law.

ABOUT

The Journal of the Department of Taxation Law (JDTL) is an annual, double-blind, peer-reviewed Journal of the Department of Taxation Law, School of Excellence in Law, The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai.

ELIGIBILITY

The Editorial Board of the JDTL is pleased to invite original, unpublished manuscripts from law students, researchers, legal practitioners, academicians, and others in the field of taxation law.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • Authors are requested to strictly adhere to the given word limit. Word count is exclusive of footnotes:
    1. Research Papers: 4000 – 6000 words
    2. Articles: 2000 – 4000 Words
    3. Case comments and Book reviews: 1000 – 2000 words
  • Note: All manuscripts shall require five to six keywords and an abstract of not more than 250 words.
  • All manuscripts are to be made in the electronic form to jdtl.tndalu@gmail.com on or before September 15, 2022. Submissions made through any other mode will not be accepted.
  • Co-authorship is allowed only up to a maximum of 2 authors.
  • The authors shall be required to submit a separate title page mentioning the title of the manuscript, category of the manuscript, author(s) name, affiliation, name of the institution, postal address, and author’s contact details such as e-mail and contact number of the author designated to receive correspondence.
  • The authors shall also be required to submit a declaration to the effect that the submitted work is the original and it does not violate the copyright of any person.
  • The manuscript must be the original work of the author and free from grammatical and spelling errors. It must not contain any defamatory words or statements.
  • The manuscript submitted to the journal mail-id shall be acknowledged within 7 days and will be sent for Initial screening.
  • The manuscript clearing the initial screening stage shall be subjected to a plagiarism check in Urkund software available with the University. Manuscripts exceeding plagiarism of 20% shall be rejected in this stage. A rejection mail shall be sent to the authors in this regard.
  • The manuscript submitted to the journal must not be previously published or currently under review at any other journal/conference/book and should not be submitted to any other journal/conference/book while under review with us.
  • Submission must be accompanied by an abstract of not more than 250 words. No paper will be accepted without an abstract.
  • The final decision as to acceptance and publication of the manuscript rests with the Editorial board.

SUBMISSION PROCESS

  1. Author/s are required to submit the manuscripts in Microsoft word document.
  2. The name of the document shall be the title of the manuscript.
  3. All submissions must be made online via email to jdtl.tndalu@gmail.com
  4. The subject of the E-mail shall be “Submission for Volume 1 in JDTL”.
