The rules are based on democratic principles. By these rules, it is to ensure that everybody gets a chance to be heard and a proper decorum is maintained in the course of discussion that take place in Parliament.

  • The Registration Fee is nonrefundable.
  • Anonymity is our priority, so the delegate must enter the meeting room with their respective portfolio names and not by their own names.
  • Dress code- Decent Business Formals or in accordance with the portfolio.
  • The cameras of all the delegates must be switched on and the microphone must be muted unless EB allows.
  • If there is any genuine reason for the cameras to be switched off, it should be prior intimated to the organizing team.
  • Any kind of nuisance, vulgar language, nonparliamentary language would directly lead to disqualification.

  • Non-compliance with the rules would lead to the disqualification of the members at the discretion of the judges.

Role and Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of Dean, Research and overall guidance of Director and the Registrar, the incumbent shall perform the following roles and
responsibilities;
(i) Conduct interdisciplinary research in areas of law in collaboration with teaching and research staff including honorary members and students;
(ii) Publishing research papers in UGC/Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals;
(iii) Submitting research proposals to various agencies and getting research funding and consultancy projects;

GD Goenka University, in association with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (India), the Society of Indian Law Firms and the Bar Association of India for the first time in a different set-up is organizing the “GD Goenka – CIArb (India) International Virtual Commercial Arbitration Moot Competition, 2020” during November 28- November 29, 2020, on a competition proposition based on “International Commercial Arbitration”.
