What You Will Be Doing

• Agreements: Drafting, Vetting, Negotiations, Execution and Record Management.
• Legal Communications: Drafting key legal communications in response to Notices, Queries and Statutory Communications.
• Policies: Drafting of Policies and Guidelines for Internal and External Company requirements.
• Litigation: Collation of Case Details and Facts, Coordination with Advocates, Preparation of Responses and Litigation related documents and record management.
• Legal Opinion: Opinions on key Laws and Statutory requirements for Business and drafting of White Papers.
• Reporting: Routine report submissions to the RBI and submission of data on request of the RBI as per licensing norms and applicable provisions of Credit Information Companies Act, 2005, related rules and regulations.

What You’ll Need To Bring To The Party

• Proven experience in relationship management and a demonstrated ability to lead a legal team and develop talents that subsequently drive value across the business.
• Exceptionally good – clear communication of instructions and information down the line will significantly determine the performance and efficiency of the junior lawyers, hence, the legal department as a whole.

Qualifications

RBI granted approval to Mynd Solutions in Dec 2015, to set-up and operate TReDS under the Payment and Settlement System (PSS) Act 2007. Mynd Solutions is one of the very few entities approved to set up the exchange.

ROLE:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Regular communication with JioSaavn business units to help identify and address legal issues associated with technology, digital product, digital content, integrated marketing, and programming across the JioSaavn platform.
• Advise and provide legal advice on a wide spectrum of contract, technology, corporate, advertising, intellectual property, corporate, and privacy-related issues.
• Work closely with JioSaavn’s content strategy groups to assess risks associated with evolving content acquisition strategies and the licensing/clearance of related rights.
• Support the Legal Affairs group with ongoing work streams including compliance, process improvement, template development and the use of technology to increase efficiencies.
• Ability to work proactively, independently and reliably work on multiple projects under tight timelines in an environment that is fast-paced and effectively communicate and collaborate with a broad range of constituents that are involved.

• L.L.B with strong academic performance.

● Overall experience of 4-8 years. Experience in a similar field would be very helpful.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Metadata Abstraction: Metadata identification and abstraction from client contract documents.
• Review of contracts to abstract the metadata as per client requirement
• Abstraction exercise for legal/business terms
• Ability to learn and use CLM/AI tools 
• Ensure the accuracy and completion of the obligation capture process within the agreed timelines
• Process Governance
• Daily reporting of the work product
• Compliance with policy /projects of internal and customer related process
• Client Communication:
• Indirect involvement in Client calls (coordination via e-mails also)

Experience

• 0-1 of experience in Contract abstractions or review of contracts is preferred
• Knowledge of CLM tools, contracts will be preferred

Education Minimum & preferred education & qualification

• Degree in Law and comfortable to work in contract for 3 months.
• Should have working knowledge of MS office, must be proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
