SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • The maximum number of authors is 3 per paper.
  • Word limit: a) Articles- not more than 5000 words. b) Case Comments- not more than 3000 words. c) Comments on Judicial / Legislative trends- not more than 1000 words.
  • Times New Roman Font Size: 16 for the title, 14 for the sub-heading, and 12 for the body, 1.5 with justified alignment. 
  • Bluebook 20 edition / ILI.
  • The title page should contain the specific title, author’s name, and contact details.
  • The abstract should not exceed 300 words with 5 keywords.
  • An apt introduction with the relevant and latest review of literature in the field to highlight the importance of the study.
  • The findings of the study in light of the literature reviewed and objectives framed can be discussed.
  • The conclusions derived from the analysis with suggestions may be presented.

The Centre for Competition Law and Policy puts forth the Competition Law e-Newsletter to engage the legal community in thought-provoking discussions on various issues which lie connected to competition law.

The e-Newsletter, the first of its kind in the field of Competition Law in India, aims to disseminate knowledge relating to the current developments in the field of competition law. Centre for Competition Law and Policy, NUALS, Kochi is making a call for contributions for its Newsletter.

ELIGIBILITY

The Editorial team of the NUALS Competition Law e-Newsletter is pleased to invite original and unpublished manuscripts for the 5th Volume of the e-Newsletter from academicians, professionals, and law students.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Categories of submissions

  1. Short Articles: 1500 words
  2. Long Articles: 2000 -3000 words
  3. Case comments: 700 words
  1. The word limit is exclusive of footnotes and is flexible at the discretion of the Editorial Board.
  2. The body of the mail shall contain details of the author [full name, semester & course (if a student)], university/organization/freelancer (specify) and contact number.
  3. Submissions must be made before October 15, 2022.
  4. The submissions must be original works and should not have been published or be in consideration for publication elsewhere.
  5. All submissions are subject to a plagiarism check, if the work is found to be unoriginal the submission will be rejected. (Maximum plagiarism allowed is 10%.) The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject any work during the review process if it is found to be unoriginal or not meet the standards set by the editorial board.
  6. Co-authorship of a maximum of two people is permitted.
  7. Authors should submit a ‘Declaration of Originality’ along with the submissions.
  8. The Declaration form can be found here. CCLP reserves all rights over the submissions.
  9. All submissions are to be made in .doc/.docx/.odt format. PDF submissions are not accepted.
  10. The body of the manuscript must be according to the following specifications:

  13. Line spacing- 1.5
  14. Submissions must follow the Bluebook (20th edition) style of citation. Footnotes must be in Times New Roman, font size 10 with single line spacing.

  • Original research papers are welcome on the above-mentioned or any other related theme.
  • The paper can be co-authored. However, a maximum of two authors per entry is allowed.
  • An author is permitted to present a maximum of 1 paper only.
  • The author(s) shall specify on the first page of the abstract and the full paper the below-mentioned details: Title of the Seminar, Title of the Paper with theme, Name (s) of Author (s), Designation, Name of the Organization / University / Institution, Email address, Contact number.
  • It is mandatory to mention your E-mail address, as all future correspondence will be through it only.
  • The main text should be in A4 size, Times New Roman Font on MS-Word, dully typed in 12pt Font size with 1.5 Line Spacing.
  • Citation: Any uniform method of citation may be followed.
  • Submission of Abstract: The Abstract containing full details of the Author(s) as mentioned above should be submitted through Email only.
  • The Email id for seminar-related queries and submissions is seminar.aacl@gmail.com.
  • After receiving confirmation from the organizing committee the participant shall mail their full paper containing full details of the Author(s) as mentioned above.
  • The Abstract should not exceed 250 words.
