Submissions should be made in MS Word format and those in pdf shall not be accepted.
Level one heading: It shall be numbered and in the centre.
Level two heading: It shall be left aligned and in bold letters.
Level three heading: It shall be left aligned and italicized.
All manuscripts shall include an ‘Introduction’ and ‘Conclusion’.
All citations shall be placed in foot-notes.
Number less than 100 shall be spelt out unless they are a percent (e.g., 5 percent).

The Journal encourages the use of gender-neutral language.

Uniform date format shall be used (e.g., August 15, 1947).
Quotations: Quotations within a sentence must be enclosed in double quotation marks (“ ”). A quotation within a quotation should be enclosed in single quotation marks (‘ ’). A quotation longer than three lines should be set out in a separate block indented from both the left and right margins.
Do not enclose the quotation in quotation marks. A quotation is introduced with a colon (:)

Theme – I: Regimes of Control: Implications for National and International Regulations The first theme will be focusing on the historical development of the recognition of intellectual property and the development of legal regimes through various international treaties and conventions related to the protection of intellectual property rights and their consequences on the development of domestic legislations. The international conventions to protect intellectual property rights include Paris Convention, the Berne Convention, International Convention for the Protection of Performers, Producers of Phonograms and Broadcasting Organizations (Rome Convention), and the Treaty on Intellectual Property in Respect of Integrated Circuits (IPIC Treaty).
Theme – II: Intellectual Property Rights: The Indian Experience The second theme will focus on the various Indian legislations related to the protection of intellectual property rights and its impact on the Indian economy and society at large. The theme will focus on developments of IP regimes in India through various statutes like the Patents Act, 1970, the Trademarks Act, 1999, the Copyright Act, 1957, the Geographical Indications of Goods (Registration And Protection) Act, 1999, the Designs Act, 2000 and the Biological Diversity Act, 2002 but not limited to the mere analysis of statutes but will also include different issues arising in relation to these and the judicial pronouncements thereupon. Some of the issues to be discussed are regarding IP laws in cyberspace, analyzing dimensions of related legislations, patenting of traditional knowledge bases, recognition of plant varieties and their medicinal properties, and international conflicts in operation of IP laws.
