RESPONSIBILITIES

Conducting Trademark clearance.
Filing & prosecuting trademarks.
Handling any trademark opposition & enforcement work, including administrative procedures and litigation.
Leading/supporting counterfeit enforcement.
Providing copyright counseling and enforcement.
Training clients & others in the organization on trademark matters, building awareness on trademark creation and protection.
Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts that involve trademarks and copyrights.
-Maintaining trademark portfolio using the required system to manage the matters and data.

Designation: Junior Counsel

Qualification: Law graduates, however, preference would be given to either those in the top 20% of the graduating batch (If batch ranks are not available then percentage/GPA needs to be sent along with the batch size) or to those applicants who have won or have been runners-up during his law school in a reputed moot court competition.
Remuneration: Rs. 50,000/- per month + drafting incentives on the basis of the quality of drafts + expenses as per actuals.
PQE: 0 – 2 years
Working Hours: 9 AM to 8 PM (Monday to Saturday)
Location: Competent House, Connaught Place, New Delhi

Internship Details

Law students in their 3-5th year, who are available full-time, may apply.
Interns will get to work directly with partners across diverse areas of law, such as M&A, fundraising, pre-litigation strategy, litigation, corporate advisory etc.
Outstanding candidates may be offered an extension, a subsequent internship or a permanent position at the firm.
