Job Description

The General Counsel’s Organization (GCO) & Centralized Supervisory Unit (CSU) team in India, includes the legal, compliance, Supervision functions that support Ameriprise Financial and its subsidiaries. This Retail funds team in GCO works on the disclosure documents and regulatory reporting for mutual funds across North America.

We are seeking to identify a qualified candidate for a position in GCO for the retail funds team, intended to work with the paralegals and attorneys in the US on prospectus filings and other regulatory filings. The person will be responsible for the following along with any other functions assigned as part of the requirements to meet the larger goal mentioned above:

Responsibilities

Liaising with internal and external teams to ensure that Prospectus documentation is made available and that stakeholders review and approve the document
Drafting prospectus wording and inputting into relevant documents/document management systems to produce prospectuses and other offering documentation as applicable
Providing legal support on global asset management business initiatives on an as needed basis, including non-fund disclosure documents, various contracts, local registrations and governance.
To work with multiple portfolio managers/ fund managers to prepare various reports related to the funds
To play a multi-dimensional role which involves coordinating with various departments and stakeholders

Required Qualifications

Graduation in Finance or any equivalent degree.
1 – 4 years’ experience in the Mutual fund industry with strong subject matter knowledge of mutual funds.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to successfully manage several ongoing assignments and collaborate with the US colleagues directly.
Ability to work independently and proactively, to multi-task and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency.

Role Description

Conduct client file reviews to confirm that all Customer/ Client Due Diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer/ Client (KYC) documentation is in hand and up to date, identifying where gaps exist and remediation is required; ensuring that Intertrust is in compliance with regulatory standards. Job Description

Qualification

Desired Skill

  • The candidates must have sound knowledge of Fabrication methodology, Physical layout design/synthesis, IP verification, static timing analysis, OVM, UVM, ASIC, FPGAs.
  • Any hands-on experience of working on layout, IP verification, synthesis or any other chip design tool (like Cadence OrCAD tool) will be preferred.
  • Knowledge of US Patent Law (35 USC § 101, 102, 112 etc.).
  • Good knowledge of various Patent Services, including Infringement Analysis, EOU/Claim charting, Prior Art Searching, Patent Analytics, etc.
  • High level of computer proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Experience
  • Fresher with good understanding in reverese engineering & circuit abstraction 
  • Sound knowledge on semiconductor technology patents & VLSI will be preferred.

Education

  • M.Tech in VLSI will be preferred.
  • M.Tech/B.Tech/B.E in ECE with sound knowledge of semiconductor technology.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities
• Work as a subject matter expert on Data Breach Analysis [DBA], review and management for US, UK
and other jurisdiction clients for India Delivery centers
• Identify/capture personal information within electronically-stored documents. Examples include:
o Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
o Personal Health Information (PHI)
o Payment Card Information (PCI)
• Ensure quality standards are achieved
• Work on client system through remote access
• Maintains confidentiality of all organization and client information


Desired candidate profile
• Any graduate/Postgraduate with 1+yrs of experience in backend operations with
LPO/BPO/KPO/ITES/Finance sector
• Proven ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and partner organizations
• Ability to priorities between multiple complex projects/timelines
• Good in written and Verbal communication
• High level of positive attitude
• Responsible to ensure accurate time tracking
• Good decision-making ability
