About the seminar
Children are the Angels of the land blessed with the Holy spirits as they are innocent and truthful. They are also the agents of Nation-Building, forerunners of human growth and the future of human civilisation. Their development not only serves the development of a family, or a society rather the development of entire humanity. However, since time immemorial there have been several instances where a huge number of innocent children have been subjected to gross human rights violations across the globe, and even in many instances majority of such children face severe vulnerabilities due to improper planning for their protection and promotion, since they are neither in a capacity to claim their rights, nor to understand the gravity of consequences for their ignorance.
Therefore, it becomes a responsibility for all of us to initiate efficient policies through proper planning, frame out institutions with advanced infrastructures, and initiate mechanisms for understanding and addressing the critical and dynamic needs of the children for their effective development and promotion. The needs of children across borders are dynamic and due to the innocence of the children, they become easy victims for the deviants. Therefore, it increases the need for a vigilant society capable of acknowledging the changing needs of the children for minimizing the gap between their divergent needs and the dynamic issues within a society. Recognizing this need the United Nations organized World Childrenâs Day in 1954 which is celebrated on November 20 each year. On forbearance with the objectives for celebrating World Childrenâs Day, this seminar aims to mitigate such issues through scholarly discussions from multiple perspectives and diversified analysis.
