About the CCL Blog

The Centre for Corporate Law is an initiative of National Law University Odisha, Cuttack that strives to promote interdisciplinary research in corporate law, and related fields like insolvency laws, securities law, etc. The Centre for Corporate Law among other endeavours runs the ‘CCL Blog’.

The CCL Blog is a three-tier peer-reviewed and open-access blog that aims to bolster research within academia and the legal fraternity on contemporary issues pertaining to corporate law and its allied areas. At the same time, the blog seeks to publish content that keeps its readers abreast with updated information and analysis.

CCL is pleased to invite well-researched blogs on a rolling basis. Submissions can be in the form of articles, opinions, case comments and short notes on topics revolving around ‘Corporate and Commercial Laws’.

Submissions can be made within the ambit of ‘Corporate or Commercial Laws’. For the convenience of the authors, they include inter alia:

Eligibility

The CCL Blog invites blogs from students, practitioners, researchers, academicians, policymakers and other stakeholders in the legal field.

Submission Guidelines

  • Submissions should be the original work of the contributor and should not have been published or sent for publication elsewhere.
  • Co-authorship is permitted up to 2 authors.
  • Citations may be included either by adding footnotes (OSCOLA) or hyperlinking the reliable internet source in the main text itself.
  • Further, if the author relies on a specific part of a document to support an argument,  pinpoint citations must be included.
  • Authors are advised to keep their articles concise and precise to enhance the effectiveness of their posts. The word limit should ideally range from 1200 – 1500 words (excluding footnotes).
  • Submissions should not contain advertising or marketing material. Posts summarising (and possibly linking to) alert memos and similar current awareness pieces prepared by law firms and other service providers will not be considered for publication.
  • Submissions should not contain any offensive, abusive, derogatory or potentially defamatory content.

There shall be no processing or publication fee.

About the Journal

Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) is the statutory university established by the Government of Gujarat under the Gujarat National Law University Act, 2003 and is the seventh National Law School in order of its establishment in India.

The University is recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university is located at Gandhinagar, which is the capital of Gujarat State within India and is located around 23 kilometres north of the city of Ahmedabad.

Submission Guidelines

  • The GNLU Journal of Law and Technology encourages paper submissions focusing on the amalgamation of any area of technology and law.
  • GNLU Journal of Law and Technology is a bi-annual journal open for submissions from academicians, practitioners, research scholars and students.
  • Co-authorship is allowed to a maximum of 2 authors. However, co-authorship is not allowed in case of Case Comment, Legislative Comment and Book Review.
  • Manuscript must not be currently before another journal for consideration.
  • Articles must not be previously published in English.
  • Plagiarism of any sort will result in immediate disqualification of the submission.
  • The manuscript shall be free from all grammatical and spelling errors.
  • The submission of the files shall be in the Microsoft Office (doc./docx) formats only.
  • The submission must contain an abstract (not more than 500 words) and at most 5 keywords.
  • The submission must necessarily be accompanied with a ‘Conclusion’ putting forth the authors’ views and opinions on the subject matter.
  • The submission shall consist of cover letter and main document.
    • The Cover Letter addressed to the Chief Editor shall include the details like Name of Author(s); Contact Details – Address, Email and Mobile No. of Author(s); Name and Address of Institution of Author(s); Academic Qualifications / Affiliations of Author(s); Conflict of Interest Statement and Financial Declaration by Author(s) {in case of sponsored studies}.
    • The main document shall not contain any author identification like name(s), affiliation(s), and any acknowledgement(s).
    • The name of the author(s) shall not be there in the file properties of the main document.
    • The title, abstract or the keywords shall not be removed from the main document.

Word Limit

  • Articles (minimum 5000 words, excluding footnotes).
  • Essays (3500-5000 words, excluding footnotes).
  • Book Reviews/Case Commentary/ Short Notes (2000-3500 words, excluding footnotes).
  • The word limit prescribed shall be adhered to.

Formatting and Citation Style

  • The body of the manuscript must be in the font “Times New Roman”, font size 12, line spacing 1.5 and alignment “justify”.
  • All footnotes must be in Font “Times New Roman”, font size 10, line spacing 1.
  • All submissions must follow the OSCOLA style.
  • Spell out acronyms on first reference following by the abbreviated term in parenthesis.
  • The numbering against the heading (1., 2., ….) / sub-heading (1.1, 1.2, …..) shall be in the decimal number format system.
  • The heading shall be kept bold and the sub-headings shall be kept in italic.

Non-conformity could be a ground for rejection.

  2. The submissions with the journal are open throughout the year and manuscript(s) will be considered for any particular issue based on the completion of the review process and the availability of space in a particular volume of the journal.

About Journal of Global Research and Analysis (JGRA)

JGRA is a peer-reviewed bi-annual journal that aims to promote the most original and scholarly research. It is published by the Geeta Institute of Law (GIL) under the aegis of K. R. Education Society, Panipat.

Theme

There are no specific themes for writing a paper for JGRA. JGRA invites well-researched, quality contributions to Contemporary issues in the legal field.

Moreover, as the journal encourages the multi-disciplinary approach, such submissions will be preferred.

Types of Submissions

JGRA is accepting submissions from academicians, legal professionals, research scholars and students in the following categories:

  • Long Articles (4000-7000, inclusive of footnotes): Contributors in this category are intended to extensively engage with a particular legal issue of contemporary relevance while recognizing the lacunae and providing possible suggestions.
  • Essays/Short Articles (3000-5000, inclusive of footnotes): This category targets at the precise analysis of a legal problem that poses serious reconsideration in the present social scenario.
  • Case and Legislative Comments (2500-3000, inclusive of footnotes): Authors are intended to present a critical approach to the contemporary legal pronouncements and legislative actions.

General Guidelines for Submission

  • Long and short articles must be accompanied by an abstract of not more than 200 words.
  • There can be a maximum of two authors in one submission.
  • All manuscripts must be submitted in English language only.
  • The research paper must be original and unpublished work of the author(s).
  • The manuscript must be drafted in Times New Roman, font size 12, line spacing 1.5, justified alignment (except the title and ‘abstract’ caption which should be centrally aligned).
  • Citation format: Journal will strictly follow the ILI Rules of Footnoting (available on the website of ILI, New Delhi). The footnotes must be type written in the font Times New Roman, font size 10, line spacing 1.0 and justified alignment.
  • All entries should be submitted in .doc or .docx format.
  • Any plagiarism shall attract immediate disqualification.

Note: Manuscripts having more than 10% plagiarism will be outrightly rejected and therefore will not be reviewed.

How to Submit?

  • All the submissions must be sent in .doc format through electronic mode only by sending an email to editorjgra@geeta.edu.in with the subject of mail as “Submission for Volume 10 (II) of JGRA”.
  • All the contributors are also required to submit a cover letter containing the following information:
    1. Name of the author (s)
    2. Designation of author (s)
    3. Affiliation of the author (s)
    4. Contact number
    5. Title of the paper
  • The authors are also required to submit a declaration of originality and previously unpublished work. The declaration can be found attached as Annexure I.

Submission Deadline

For Volume 10 Issue II: The contributors have to submit their research work on or before December 15, 2021.

Publication Fees

No publication fee is charged by the Journal.

About the institution

  • One inch margins should be maintained on all four sides of the pages.
  • Citation Style: Bluebook, 20th edition.
  • The abstract and full paper has to mandatorily be submitted in .pdf format only.

Note

Co-authorship is permitted to a maximum of two authors and at least one author must attend the E Conference to present the paper. No Proxy presentations are allowed. The School of Law, CHRIST in keeping with its mandate of publishing original works only, adopts a stringent anti-plagiarism policy. Any paper containing any unattributed work is thus liable to be rejected.

  • The author(s) are required to e-mail the manuscript to submissions@intbusinesslaw.com, Alternatively, they can also visit the website and submit the manuscript through our website. The manuscript should be submitted only in ‘.doc’ or ‘.docx’ format.
  • The subject of the e-mail must clearly mention, ‘Submission of Manuscript’.
  • The e-mail must contain the subject – “Submission for Volume II Issue 1” and the email body should provide the – Name, Email, Phone, Affiliation (University or Firm or Any other Profession) and the complete postal address. Please note that these details will be kept confidential.
  • An e-mail confirming the receipt of the manuscript and subsequently its acceptance for publication would be duly sent to the author(s) through the e-mail id used by the author(s) for correspondence by the Journal. About the Journal

Journal of Law and Legal Studies is an online bi-annual journal with a summer and winter edition. The Journal emphasizes creating an open-access platform to research around Socio-legal topics and promote interdisciplinary research entailing detailed study of law with other disciplines in the contemporary era.

Eligibility

All academicians, Research Scholars, Lawyers, and Law Students can submit original manuscripts of Articles, Book reviews, Case Comments, and Legislative Comments relating to a recent development in Law and Legal Studies.

Types of Submissions Accepted

The Journal of Law and Legal Studies invites original, unpublished manuscripts from all academicians, authors, legal professionals, and Law students in the following categories:

  1. Long Articles: 4000-7000 words, Excluding footnotes
  2. Essays/Short Articles: 2000-4000 words, Excluding footnotes
  3. Case Notes and Legislative Comments: 1200-2500 words

General Instructions

  • Long articles and short articles must be accompanied by an abstract not exceeding 200 words.
  • Up to two authors are allowed for all categories, except Case Notes and Legislative Comments wherein co-authorship is not permitted.
  •  All citations should conform to the Bluebook 20th Edition or ILI citation style and shall be placed in foot-notes. 
  • All works must be original and unpublished, and must not be pending for review before any other journal. 
  • Any form of plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.
  • While it is advisable to adhere to the word limits of each category, the journal may be flexible on the word limit depending on the quality of the article.

Submission Contents

  1. The manuscript in Word format (.doc or .docx) as an attachment. PDF/other formats/hard copy submissions will not be accepted.
  2. The body of the first page must mention:
    1. Name of the author(s)
    2. Contact number
    3. The academic year of the course pursued (if applicable)
    4. Qualifications (if applicable)
    5. Institutional affiliation
    6. Title of the paper
    7. The type of submission (Long Article, Essay/Short Article, Case note & Legislative Comment)

Formatting Guidelines

  • The first page of the manuscript should contain the name of the paper, name of the authors and their institutional affiliation followed by a 200-word abstract
  • The second page should commence with the main body of the manuscript.
  • The name of the authors and their institutional affiliation must be mentioned in the manuscript.
  • Texts and footnotes should conform to the ILI citation style.
  • The main body of the manuscript should be in Times New Roman style, font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing and footnotes in Times New Roman Style, Size 10, with 1.0 line spacing. 
  • All headings must have uniform formatting.

About the Seminar

The seminar aims to reflect the philosophy incorporated in Gita, the principles of life and karma reflected in it, along with good governance, political, economic, and social justice which would help us in establishing a welfare state as contemplated under the Indian Constitution. To explore and establish the relevance and implementation of the Indian Constitution under the guiding principles of Gita in today’s world, the Amity Law School is organising a 3-day National Seminar on ‘The Philosophy of Gita and its Embodiment in the Indian Constitution, from 3rd to 5th February 2022.

Submission Guidelines

  • The abstract should not be more than 300 words with a maximum of 5 (five) relevant keywords.
  • Full paper –3000 words minimum excluding references and footnoting.
  • Abstract & Full Paper is to be submitted as soft copy only in MS Word format, typed in Times New Roman, 14-point Heading and 12-point normal text with 1.5 spacing & 10 points with 1.0 spacing for footnotes).
  • A separate MS Word file should be submitted containing the article title, followed by the author’s name, affiliation, communication address, e-mail, and phone details.
  • A declaration waiving the copyright by the author and stating that all submissions are original and are a bona-fide work of the author.
  • All abstracts and full papers must be submitted with the subject: “AMITY LKO 2022 SEMINAR – TITLE OF PAPER – AUTHOR’S NAME” to aksrivastava1@lko.amity.edu.

Accommodation and Travel

  • Accommodation will be provided on a first come first serve basis.
  • Resources persons shall be entitled to get remuneration as per the ICPR norms and Travel Allowance.
