About the quiz

The Constitution Law Studies Committee, School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University, Pune Lavasa) is organizing National Level Online Quiz Competition named as “Conquizor”, on the occasion of 72nd Constitution Day on 26 November, 2021.

Attributes and scheme of Conquizor

  • The format of the quiz will be ‘Objective Questions’ consisting of multiple-choice questions, true-false an assertion- reasoning questions.
  • The participants need to register for the quiz via the Google Registration Form given.
  • The participants registering for the quiz via the Google Registration form will receive a confirmation mail from our side.
  • The Confirmation mail will have the link to join the WhatsApp Group upon which all the important updates regarding the quiz will be sent.
  • There will be Two Rounds to be conducted under the aegis of Conquizor via Online mode.
  • Both the rounds will be held via Google Forms.
  • There will be no negative marking for the quiz.
  • Organisers will not be responsible for any technical error in the registration process.

Round I rules:

  • All participants are required to attempt the Round I of the Quiz via Google Form Link sent on the WhatsApp Group made for the purpose.
  • This round will be held on November 27, 2021 (4:30-5:00 PM).
  • Round I will consist of 75 Multiple Choice Questions of 1 Mark each.
  • The results of the same will be declared on November 27 by 10:00 PM on WhatsApp group made for the purpose.

Round II rules:

  • The Top 15 participants from Round-I will be sent another confirmation mail containing a link to join a new WhatsApp Group for the Round II Quiz.
  • This round will be held on November 29, 2021 (4:30-4:45 PM)
  • Round II of the Quiz will be via Google Form Link sent on the WhatsApp Group made for the purpose.
  • Round II will consist of 30 Multiple Choice Questions of 1 Mark each.
  • The results of the final round will be announced on 3rd December, 2021 in the concluding ceremony from 4 PM to 5 PM.

Accolades

• 1st Winner will get a cash prize of Rs. 750 + Certificate of Merit (E- Certificate)
• 2nd Winner will get a cash prize of Rs. 500 + Certificate of Merit (E- Certificate)
• Top 10 winners will get a Certificate of Recognition (E- Certificate)
• All the Participants of the Quiz will be given the Certificate of Participation (E- Participate).

Note

  • In case of tie in marks, the participant who submitted the quiz first will be decided as winner if he/she falls in top 2.
  • In case same marks are scored by 2 participants, then those 2 will be declared as Top 2.
  • Quiz cannot be reconducted if someone is unable to submit in time.
  • The decision of organizers shall be final and binding in all matters.

The Faculty of Law, University of Lucknow is a pioneer legal institution of India. It was established in 1921 with three teachers. The Faculty of Law, University of Lucknow is organizing the 1st Dr. Avtar Singh Memorial National Quiz Competition, 2021.

Eligibility

Open for all those who have a passion for quiz; undergraduate, postgraduate as well as professionals can participate.

3rd Prize: Certificate of Merit + Bronze Medal + Trophy

Important dates

Last Date of Registration: 26th October, 2021, 11:59 PM.
Date of Quiz: 27th October, 2021, 05:00 PM (IST).
Declaration of Result: 28th October, 2021.
Prize Distribution: 30th October, 2021.

Important Guidelines

  • Register through the Google form to participate in the Quiz.
  • A sum of twenty rupees ( ₹ 20) will be charged as the registration fees, payment can be made through PayTm, PhonePe, UPI, and GPay.
  • The quiz will be conducted in an Online Mode and will cover Indian Contract Law, Indian Constitution, Indian Penal Code, Jurisprudence, Tort, Family Law and Public International Law
  • Team participation is not allowed.
  • There will be 50 questions and each will be of one mark.
  • If there is a tie, then the winner will be decided on the basis of the time in which they submit their answers.
  • The Quiz will start sharply at 05:00 PM on 27th October, 2021 and be for a duration of 30 minutes.
  • The results declared would be final and the authority vests with the University of Lucknow to change or modify the same.

About the University

About the Competition

On October 29, 2021, the Constitutional Club of GGSIPU (Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University) will host a virtual quiz on the topic of “Azadi: The Struggle to Make India Independent.”

Eligibility

Students from UGC-approved universities and colleges are welcome to join.

Rule and guidelines

  • There is no cost to register.
  • A certificate and a cash prize will be given to the competition winner(s).
  • The organising team’s decisions are final and binding.
  • Any participant who violates any of the guidelines outlined here or elsewhere will be disqualified immediately.
  • A maximum of 100 people can participate; first come, first served.
  • There will be two rounds in the contest: a preliminary round and a final round (which shall further consist of an Eliminatory Round, and a Bounce & Pounce Round).

The Quiz Competition’s Format

  • Preliminary Round: The preliminary round will consist of a timed online MCQ test with a total of 25 questions. The online MCQ test will have a time limit of 10 minutes to complete.
  • Final Round: The final round will be conducted via Zoom video conference. At all times, the participants must have their videos turned on. The quizmaster and the proctoring team must always be able to see their face and hands. Any inconsistency may result in disqualification.
  • The final round would be conducted in two phases – Eliminatory Round and Bounce and Pounce Round.
    1. Eliminatory Round: The top 12 participants of the Preliminary Round would participate in the Eliminatory Round which will consist of three rounds in total. The round will have direct questions which will be directed in a sequential manner.
    2. Bounce and Pounce Round: The top 7 participants of the Eliminatory Round will compete in the Bound and Pounce Round which will consist of 7 rounds in total. The round will have direct questions which will be directed in a sequential manner.
