Legalify India is founded in July 2020. It is an organization that has been started with its cardinal motive to help Law students and the public ranging from diverse backgrounds to enhance their legal knowledge and help them to know their rights and duties so that they can make a decisive viewpoint towards society and the governing law. We will be dealing with legal news, updates, and comprehensive information which will flawlessly help you to keep your legal knowledge up to date.

Our main focus would be towards providing an ambient and distinctive content to our readers over a wide spectrum of legal issues and laws like cyber law, media and entertainment law, environment law, ADR, and many additional fields. While designing this organization we kept every aspect in our mind, be it an article, blog or any news updates our utmost motive is to make this a one-stop destination for everyone who visits us.

JLSR JOURNAL

Journal for Law Students and Researchers (JLSR), envisions to empower the individuals of tomorrow to advance and learn from the theoretical and practical aspects of the contemporary law today. Law as a field, is a predominantly present in the lives of people in society, and as such its discourse and dissemination are requisite in a proper forum today.

Journal for Law Students and Researchers (JSLR), therefore, acts as a platform for the researchers and students, along with academicians to publish their research on contemporary issues of the law, so as to enable the growth and understanding of the aspects of the law to the interested individuals in society.

Speaker: Adv. Ayushi Richa Mishra, Lawyer & TM-Attorney. 

Ayushi is a Lawyer Cyber-security enthusiasts, exploring Cyber Law since 2015 and till today. She is a speaker and a researcher practicing in the field of IPR, IT. She is keynote speaker to National Insurance Academy, Pune rural police in electronic evidence and cyber laws and crime, she is also a visiting faculty in Pune.

Day1

Fighting the fear online threat’s Atmosphere.

•   How to protect yourself from cyber-crimes technically.
•  Study on different cases related online money laundering, frauds and other crimes.
•  Legal procedures for protecting from Cyber-crime and what punishment can be given for crime.

Day2

• E-filing and practical knowledge on cyber-crime.
• Procedure for e- filing a cyber-crime and detailed knowledge on how to file a complaint.
• What are the evidences are to be asked from victim for filing a complaint.

ABOUT THE ORGANISER

From the beginning, Lawschole has been driven by the interests and involvement of our incredible and engaged law students. We are a great resource, offering opportunities for students to be active in a variety of topics and to engage with each other in an interesting and safe online environment. It is a forum where law students can share thoughts, seek opinions and advice, and learn something new from other members of the forum. We are a hub of various events including webinars, various
competitions, courses, moot court competition series, and blogs.

ABOUT THE MOOT COURT COMPETITION

The 1st Lawschole Moot Court Competition aims to provide law students with excellence in the world of mooting. The top 8 rankers of the competition will also get a chance to represent their institution in the “Yearly Rounds of the Pracs Series- Lawschole Moot Court Competition”, which shall be held in January every year. The top 8 rankers shall get a direct entry to the yearly rounds of the competition at a global level. This event is an excellent opportunity for law students to turn things around and use their time wisely. The event will enhance the advocacy and drafting skills of the participants. The aim of this competition is to enable law students all across India to participate and showcase their majesty over law and legal principles over a virtual platform.

ELIGIBILITY

Students of three year and five-year law degree courses or PG students from any University/Law School/College/Department are eligible to apply for registration of their team.

TEAM SIZE AND OTHER INFORMATION

Each team shall consist of a minimum of two participants and a maximum of three; two participants shall be the speaker and one participant as a Researcher. However, a team consisting of two participants are allowed as Speaker 1 and 2.
Maximum 20 teams are allowed to participate in the 1st Lawschole Virtual Moot Court Competition on a first-come-first-served basis.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

i) The last date of registration shall be August 5, 2020. Early Bird Registrations are open from July 20 to July 31, 2020. The registration shall be on a first-come-first-served basis. Therefore, if the Team cap limit of 20 (Twenty) Teams is filled beforehand, the registration for the competition shall close.

ii) Registration amount is Rs. 500/- (From July 20 to July 31, 2020). – EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT
Registration amount is Rs. 600/-. (On or after August 1, 2020, to August 5, 2020)

iii) The Registration shall be done by filling up the Application form, available here:

About the Organizer

Glocal University is a private and coeducational institution located in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated in the foothills of Shivalik mountains. The university is a non-profit university established by the Uttar Pradesh Private Universities Act, 2011, and is recognized by University Grant Commission.

J.P. Sharma and Associates: The foundation of the firm was laid down in the year 2013 by Late J.P.Sharma.The firm was formed with associates who were Senior Advocates of the Allahabad High Court. And since then our family has increased to 17 associates from the Allahabad and Lucknow Bench today.

About the Competition

Babu Pritam Singh Moot Court is the 1st Virtual Moot Court Competition organised by J. P. Sharma & Associates in collaboration with Glocal Law School, Saharanpur. The organisers felt that there is a need of a virtual platform at this time of Pandemic, where law students can be a part of a platform where they can draft, plead and showcase their advocacy skills.

The Moot Proposition of the competition will be based majorly on Constitutional and Criminal Laws. The proposition for the competition would be released on 30th June 2020.
