The litigation team of King Stubb & Kasiva, Advocates & Attorneys in Bangalore is in need of Associates.

As an associate you are required to: –

helping elderly obtain representation in front of several courts;
writing petitions, Writs, representations, and NCLT petitions, as well as composing submissions and notice responses;
make an appearance and support elders in deciding cases for various authorities or police officers;
Conduct in-depth analysis on a variety of subjects; takes individual responsibility for smaller clientele.

Eligibility

The applicant must hold an LL. B degree and be admitted to the bar to practise law;
The candidate must have at least two years’ worth of experience working in both civil and criminal litigation;
Along with being proficient in the native language (Kannada), the candidate must be competent in both spoken and written English;
outstanding communication abilities, as well as the capacity to design intricate agreements and to perform in-depth legal study;
Strong teamwork skills are required, as well as the capacity to meet deadlines;

About the Advocate

Mr. Talha Abdul Rahman is a Supreme Court of India Advocate on Record. The Vice Chancellor’s Special Medal for Proven Leadership Abilities and three others in Corporate Law, Labor Law, and Environmental Law were given to him after he graduated from the NALSAR University of Law in 2008. He received the Shell Chevening Centenary Scholarship so he may study at Oxford University for a Bachelor of Civil Law in 2008–2009. He just received a fellowship from the University of Melbourne to study statelessness with a focus on Assam.

When Mr. Rahman first registered to practise in 2008, he began his career as an Associate in the Dispute Resolution Team at AZB & Partners (Mumbai). Mr. Rahman provided accounting firms with advice following the failure of Lehman Brothers while he was employed with AZB & Partners. In the course of the liquidation process, he had defended bondholders. He moved to Lucknow in 2011 to practise law and was given the position of Junior Standing Counsel (Income Tax), Allahabad High Court. After receiving an invitation to join the offices of Mr. Gopal Subramanium, Senior Advocate and Former Solicitor General of India, he moved to Delhi in 2013. He worked on numerous significant cases when employed by Mr. Subramanium, including the Gutka tobacco ban case, the Right to Privacy-Aadhar case, the Maharashtra Dance Bar Case, and the Chhattisgarh Town Planning Case. Mr. Rahman joined their panel in September 2020 and was assigned Junior Standing Counsel (Income Tax) and Junior Standing Counsel (DRI).

Numerous works written by Mr. Rahman have appeared in prestigious magazines including Journal of the Indian Law Institute and Supreme Court Cases. The e-learning portal of Eastern Book Company includes a course on Essential Skills for the Legal Profession that was recorded by Mr. Rahman. Additionally, he contributed a chapter to a book on the law of bail and poverty that was edited by Mr. Salman Khurshid and Mr. Sidharth Luthra and was published by Lexis Nexis.
