About the Organization
Tarun Gaur, a criminal law enthusiast and freelance attorney. Under the guidance of famous legal icon and stalwart Mr. Mohit Mathur, Senior Advocate, he has developed his criminal law expertise during the course of his early professional career, which has lasted close to five years. The fact that Tarun received the All India Rank 1 in the AILET LL.M. indicates that he is academically driven and research-oriented (NLU, Delhi). As a result of his time working in the chambers of Mr. Mohit Mathur, Senior Advocate and current President of the Delhi High Court Bar Association, Tarun is now well-versed in all facets of criminal trial, defence, and advocacy. He also exhibits outstanding court craft.
Aside from traditional criminal offences, Tarun has worked on a variety of white-collar crime cases and has gained knowledge of the nuances of both traditional and cutting-edge criminal law, including cybercrime and economic offences. Tarun has participated in a number of high-profile and difficult criminal cases that frequently made it to the front pages of the nation and had significant stakes. He is a strong believer and an essential element of the country’s delivery system for criminal justice.
About the Responsibilities
The interns must start working right away and stay for at least two months.
Eligibility
- willing to work for two months; as it’s a virtual internship, interns won’t be required to report to the office.
- research skills in law are a must.
- First-year students will not be given consideration for this position.
