About the Advocate
In the Egyptian market, Ibrahim Shehata has acquired ten years of experience. Shehata began his legal career at the firms of Ibrachy & Dermarkar and Sharkawy & Sarhan. After that, he relocated to the US where he attended New York University to receive his Master of Laws in international arbitration. Shehata focused on corporate law at the beginning of his career, successfully advising various global corporations on conducting business in Egypt. Since entering the Egyptian renewable energy sector in 2014, he has gained specialised knowledge that has elevated him to the position of one of the top attorneys in the industry.
Shehata has helped clients navigate success in numerous high profile arbitral conflicts, particularly in matters involving construction arbitration, by leveraging his vast arbitration skills.
