About Trayas:
Trayas is an independent research and policy advisory organisation that champions constitutional, social, and market liberalism in India through data-informed public discourse. At Trayas, we use data, observational research and stories on human interaction to demonstrate how the state extends its powers, the ways in which these powers curtail individual and community liberties, the ‘so what’ of these excesses, and what needs to change and why. We build data-driven visually-powerful knowledge products and collaborate with others, to shift the way decision makers, influencers, and the general public think about the relationship between the individual, society, and the State.
About the Research Internship:
Trayas is calling applications for a remote research internship. The internship offers hands-on experience and training in policy research across diverse domains. Research activities will involve secondary research for building regulatory datasets, and assistance in drafting policy briefs and notes. Interns will help on projects related to legal gender discrimination, labour reforms and the ease of doing business, and private school regulation.
