About the Responsibilities

Linklaters is currently taking applications from Indian law students for a 4-week overseas internship opportunity in London, United Kingdom. An international internship opportunity that allows you to experience living in London and make decisions about your future in the UK before applying for a master’s degree. Linklaters will immediately offer you an interview for their London Training Contract once you complete the internship. If you are successful, you will be able to return to India to complete your degree while having the security of a Training Contract that will begin when you graduate.

As an intern you are required to:-

Participate in actual transactions.
Participate in professional development opportunities.
Become more familiar with Linklaters’ worldwide business strategy and practise areas.
Develop bargaining and pitching skills.
Take a seat with a principal.
Collaborate with seasoned attorneys and law students.

Location

Virtual or at London, United Kingdom

Time Period

4 weeks in November and December 2022

Stipend

If the programme is conducted in person, Linklaters will arrange for and pay for visas, airfare, and lodging for the duration of the programme, as well as pay £450 (INR 45,129) per week.
In the event that the scheme is virtual, Linklaters will offer internet connection as needed.

Eligibility

Penultimate-year law students (4th-year integrated BA LLB/BBA LLB students and 2nd-year LLB students) in Indian universities who desire to start their careers in London can apply for an internship at Linklaters.
